Kino Lorber Announces the Blu-ray and DVD Releases of Breakheart Pass, Mr. Majestyk, The Children's Hour, The Unforgiven, What's New Pussycat?, Cast a Giant Shadow and On The Beach

Kino Lorber is proud to announce the release of seven more highly sought-after films making their Blu-ray debut in splendid HD transfers from Kino Lorber Studio Classics in August: Breakheart Pass, Mr. Majestyk, The Children's Hour, The Unforgiven, What's New Pussycat?, Cast a Giant Shadow and On The Beach. With a selection of films encompassing thrilling action movies, to unforgettable dramas and uproarious comedy, these classics showcase some of Hollywood's biggest stars, including Audrey Hepburn, Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Peter Sellers, Woody Allen, Gregory Peck, and many more, in some of their most famous roles.

Seven More Sought-After Classic Films Making their Blu-ray Debut in Splendid HD Transfers from Kino Lorber Studio Classics in August


Each release will be available on Blu-ray and DVD, with individual SRPs of $29.95 for the Blu-ray edition and $19.95 for the DVD edition.

BREAKHEART PASS and MR. MAJESTYK both star Charles Bronson and street on August 12th. Also streeting on August 12th are William Wyler'sTHE CHILDREN'S HOUR, starring Audrey Hepburn and Shirley MacLaine, andTHE UNFORGIVEN, starring Burt Lancaster and Audrey Hepburn.

Streeting on August 26th is the classic comedy WHAT'S NEW, PUSSYCAT?, starring Peter O'Toole, Peter Sellers, and Woody Allen (making his acting and screenwriting debut here). The acclaimed dramas CAST A GIANT SHADOW, starring Kirk Douglas, and Stanley Kramer's ON THE BEACH, starring Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, Fred Astaire and Anthony Perkins, will also street on August 26th. 

Kino Lorber Studio Classics launched this month with the inaugural releases of eight classic films making their Blu-ray debuts, including Witness for the Prosecution, The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes, Sabata, Paris Blues, Separate Tables, The Scalphunters, Duel at Diablo and Marty. Kino Lorber will continue to make more classic films available for the first time in high-quality Blu-ray editions that will be a welcome addition to any collector's home video library, both for long-time fans revisiting these timeless films, and for new audiences discovering them for the first time.
