The Carol Burnett Show: The Lost Episodes Will Arrive on DVD September 15th

Every legend has a beginning. And this fall, Time Life, one of the premiere distributors of Classic TV on DVD, will unveil the very first steps of a TV icon with The Carol Burnett Show: The Lost Episodes. Showcasing the early days of one of the most honored and beloved shows in television history, the DVD set will feature episodes from the program's first five seasons - unseen by the public for more than 40 years! Following the company's enormously successful 2012 release of The Carol Burnett Show: Ultimate Collection featuring the best of Seasons 6-11, The Lost Episodes will feature original, uncut episodes from Seasons 1-5, hand-picked by Carol herself. The iconic variety show's first five seasons have been unseen since their original airing (1967-1972) and included in this highly-anticipated collection will be the show's inaugural episode, the first performances of many of Carol's most famous sketches ( including the debuts of As the Stomach Turns, "Carol and Sis" and "The Old Folks"), legendary guest stars, and show-stopping musical numbers.
